Island Waterfall

The goal was to build a large waterfall on this island on a 2 acre pond, residential setting. This is the "Before" picture.

Using one of the permanent steel bridges we built, we hauled the needed clay to form the waterfall foundation then covered it with 60mil EPDM.

In order to place the boulders on the waterfall foundation we needed to be able to swing a 14 ton Gradall onto the island using a 170 ton crane.

Gradall landed safely. Notice the permanent steel bridge we installed which we brought 150 tons of boulders across on with our tracked skid steer for the waterfall. We actually built three of these bridges connecting all three islands with each other.

We began placing boulders using the Gradall with a hydrolic fixed grapple reaching over from behind the waterfall.
